1) how could anyone know how many people joined, hence, how much the reward should be?
2) how could anyone know how the winner is related to you?
3) "so 2% of my 5% will be donated to new players", do you mean that 1/2 coin of gold will be given to new players for each ticket? (500*(5/100)*(2/100)), or that the huge amount of 10g for each ticket?

Do not fall for alaborate scams, people. don't trust anyone with your gold.

(and yeah, anet had forbided in game gambling).

Foo, that was just my laziness in not running the numbers beforehand to realize how little it is.

I suppose the only way for you to know how many people joined I would have to post up the list. It's not very impressive- 6 people. I guess I could tell you, but that would kinda wreck the privacy of people. I'll PM you the list so it isn't in public. Would that satisfy you?

As far knowing who is related to me, I can see no way of assuring that to you. You just have to take my word for it.

It doesn't really matter though. I have feeling this thread will be locked, and I will refund all the people. I will return with a new, non-gambling contest though! My goal with this was not to rake in hoardes of cash, it was to throw something out there for the game community to do. Hindsight is 20/20, I cna see this was probably a gargantuan waste of an evening and the latter half of a morning. Live and Learn, my next game will be cleared with Anet first to ensure no wrong doing, and will not violate forums rules either.

Somone has a thread going , that somone could win his or her 240K gold..

Now i still Believe that is a *Contest* so why cant he run his contest..?

I think that a guru mod should hold the gold.
I think that all his guildes should not be allowed to enter of course.
I think this should still be ok.
I think the guildwars community is so bad right now that NO one believes anyone.

It's Diablo 2 ALL over again...
